NYC-based drummer, songwriter, and producer, Phil Cimino is known for his fast turnaround and versatility in both performance and production projects. As co-founder of Vaulted Music LLC, he and his team have placed songs in many commercials (Pillsbury, Arby’s) and films, including ‘JOBS’, released in 2013. He and his team recently composed the theme song for Nickelodeon’s upcoming show, LOUD HOUSE, expected to air early next year. Known as one of NYC's top session drummers, Phil has played on countless records for producers such as Eric Ambel, John Cale, Nick Hard, Rick Chertoff, Steve Boyer, Steve Rinkoff, and many more. As a performer, he has worked with countless artists and bands including Chris Barron (Spin Doctors) and the Time Bandits, The Dan Band (The Hangover), Charlie Louvin (The Louvin Brothers), Joey and Gavin Degraw, Robert Gordon, James Maddock, and Eric "Roscoe" Ambel. Phil has toured throughout the US, Europe, and Japan, performed on the Tonight Show with John Cale of Velvet Underground, and completed two USO tours in Iraq with Chris Barron and Mary Lee Cortez. A visible part of the NYC scene, he continues to perform at local spots like the legendary Bitter End, Rockwood Music Hall, Mercury Lounge, etc. With over 30 years in the music business, Phil has helped many artists and bands gain recognition. He works with artists and songwriters on recording projects, song critique, arranging, production, performance coaching, and much more. He is an active member of ASCAP as a songwriter and owns publishing companies under ASCAP (Peppermint Lane Publishing) and BMI (Tradecraft Publishing).
