Did you forget EVERYTHING from your childhood piano lessons? Why did your memory fail you? Think back to your most memorable childhood moments. Perhaps the most embarrassing… or the most surprising… Those memories are typically the most OUTRAGEOUS! That’s why this class gives students the ability to retain everything they learn, and the motivation to continue in music.
By acting and singing in incredibly memorable adventure-musicals (written by Shelly Wade), students will learn to read and write music on the staff! Students enjoy playing multiple roles in both adventures and always come to class begging to start!
Children also enjoy movement, playing instruments, listening, guided musical meditations, singing, and creative songwriting. Students also practice skills such as ‘vocal resonance’, ‘improvisation’ ‘diction’, ‘guided meditation’, and working with the five senses.
